Limited Edition: Red Dead Redemption

The main asset of this Edition is the inclusion of all three pieces of Bonus Content that had been made available for preorders of the Vanilla Edition of the game - the 'Deadly Assassin outfit', 'Golden Guns' and 'War Horse Thoroughbreed' - tied up into a single code.   None of these pieces will break the game or make it too easy, but all make the action occur at a quicker pace, and are a very nice addition to the experience.

Reminiscent of bonuses included in 80's and early 90's games is the inclusion of a 'Tear Resistant Map' detailing every location in the game.  This isn't vital to the game, and it is a shame it isn't printed on cloth like many early examples of such a bonus were.  On the reverse side is a stylised poster of Bonny McFarlane, a central female character.

The final piece of additional content included is a copy of the Original Soundtrack, comprised of 19 tracks that is available for purchase from a variety of sources.  Again, it is a shame that Rockstar didn't bundle the limited edition red-colored version of the disc with this Edition.  Two wasted opportunities to make this edition even better value, but the in-game content makes it far from worthless.
